4-5 Nisan 2020 Cumartesi ve Pazar tarihlerinde Bilkent Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştirilecek olan 4. Uluslararası Lisans Öğrencileri Felsefe Kongresi’nin ikinci gününde lise öğrencileri için bir akademik poster sergisi yer alacaktır. Poster sergisi sırasında, panolara asılmış olan A1 büyüklüğündeki akademik posterler katılımcılar tarafından incelenecek, posterleri hazırlayan öğrenciler katılımcılarla posterleri hakkında konuşma ve geri-besleme alma fırsatı elde edeceklerdir. Akademik posterler bir felsefi düşünceyi dile getirmekle ya da bir felsefeciyi tanıtmakla kalmayıp, bir iddiada bulunmalıdır (bir felsefeciye itiraz, bir felsefi metnin yorumlanması, bir felsefi soruna çözüm önerisi, bir felsefi kuramın değerlendirilmesi ya da iki zıt görüşün kabul edilebilirlik açısından karşılaştırılması, vb.).
Öğrencilerin poster içeriklerini açıkladıkları 200-500 kelimelik bir özeti 15 Mart 2020 tarihine kadar philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr adresine göndermeleri gerekmektedir. Poster özeti kongre kurulunca kabul edilen öğrenciler, 5 Nisan günü posterlerinin basılmış halini kongre salonuna getireceklerdir.
Posteri sergilenen her öğrenciye kongre düzenleme komitesi ve Bilkent Üniversitesi Felsefe Bölümü tarafından bir katılım belgesi verilecektir.

Başvuru kuralları:
- Başvurusu yapılan posterin içeriğini tanıtan 200-500 kelimelik özetler philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr adresine .doc, .docx ya da .pdf dosyası olarak gönderilmelidir. Kongreye dair sorular da aynı e-posta adresine gönderilebilir.
- E-postada posterin tam başlığı, öğrencinin adı, soyadı, okulu ve sınıfı yer almalıdır.
- Özetler ve posterler İngilizce ya da Türkçe olarak hazırlanabilir. Lise öğrencileri poster sergisi İngilizce ve Türkçe olmakla beraber, kongredeki diğer tüm etkinlikler İngilizce’dir.
- Bir poster birden fazla öğrenci tarafından, bir grup çalışması olarak hazırlanabilir.
- Kongredeki diğer etkinlikler gibi lise öğrencileri poster sergisi de herkesin katılımına açıktır. Posterleri kabul edilen öğrencilerin velileri ve öğretmenlerinin de katılımı sergi sırasındaki paylaşım ortamını zenginleştirecektir.
- Lise poster sergisi için standartposter boyutu A1’dir(841 x 594 mm). Kabul edilen posterlerin düşey sayfa yönünde (portrait orientation) hazırlanması ve en geç 5 Nisan Pazar günü öğleden önce kongre salonuna (Bilkent Üniversitesi Merkez Kampüs, FF binası) geitirilmesi gerekmektedir.
- Son başvuru tarihi 15 Mart 2020 olup, kabul/red kararı 20 Mart’a kadar öğrencilere bildirilecektir.

POSTER SESSION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
We are happy to invite high school students to take part in the 4th International Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at Bilkent University, Ankara. The conference will take place on Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5, 2020. There will be an academic poster session for high school student participants on Sunday, April 5, afternoon.
During the poster session, the academic posters that are prepared by high school students will be hanged on the walls, like a gallery, and attendees will examine the posters. No verbal presentation is required but the students will stand next to their posters and they will have an opportunity to discuss their work with the attendees. There is no restriction on subject matter, as long as a philosophical argument is presented in the poster (mere information about a philosophical view or a philosopher is not sufficient; an evaluation, defense or objection is also required).
Each poster presenter will receive an official certificate of participation.

Call for High School Poster Proposals:
200-500 word description of the proposed poster via email: philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr
Deadline: March 15, 2020
Submission Guidelines:
- Submissions and all other inquiries should be sent by e-mail to philstudentconf@bilkent.edu.tr
- Students should send a short summary of 200-500 words to be considered for the poster session. This is a description of the content of the academic poster that the student proposes.
- Please include in the body of the e-mail submission your full name, high school affiliation, the title of your poster and your contact information (such as your e-mail address).
- The submitted poster proposals and the posters can be in English or in Turkish.
- Group work is encouraged. More than one student can prepare a poster.
- The parents and teachers of the students are more than welcome to attend the poster session.
- Standard poster size for the high school poster session is A1 (841 x 594 mm). Please prepare your poster in portrait orientation and bring your poster to the conference venue (Bilkent University Main Campus FFBuilding) on April 5 before noon.
- The deadline for submission is March 15, 2020. Accepted submissions will be announced by March 20, 2020.
